On Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at 11:00 am, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Khalid Musa-Vice President of the University of Zakhofor Students Affairs, the mayor of Zakho city, Deans and members of Faculties, representatives of government institutions, number of media outlets, and the Zakho Center for Kurdish Studies in collaboration with (Rozha me Magazine) held a symposium in the hall Khalil Khayali to celebrate of the 94th anniversary of the revolution of Sheikh Said Piran.
In the beginning, they stood a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland, followed by a number of seminars as shown below:

1-The Sheikh Revolution in the Archives of the Ottoman Empire, by Karam Sarhadi
2-The position of the Kurds towards the revolution, by Dr. Mosa Kaval
3-The reasons and results of the revolution, by Professor Dr. Hooger Taher Tawfiq
4-Echo of the Revolution in the Iraqi Press, by Assistant Professor Dr. Shirzad Zakaria Mohammed
At the end of the seminars, the door of the discussion was opened.
